Gonk Gladiator, also known as WG-22, represented a transformed power droid of the EG-series, retooled by Ralakili into a gladiator droid for combat within his droid combat arenas located inside Fort Ypso on the planet Vandor. The droid possessed mechanical limbs capable of piercing metal with immense force, fueled by electrical energy generated by his internal power cells. During the year 10 BBY, WG-22's battle against FD3-MN was disrupted due to L3-37's demonstrations advocating for droid rights, an event that had significant negative consequences for WG-22.
Warwick Davis, a seasoned actor in the Star Wars franchise, played this droid, along with a number of other characters in the movie.
