Wind rider

Wind riders, a kind of repulsorcraft, were built and utilized by the Sevari people who lived on the planet Sevarcos II. These vehicles featured an elongated body, were equipped with a pair of repulsorlift systems, and incorporated a sizable sail designed to harness the perpetual winds characteristic of Sevarcos II. The operation of a wind rider required a crew of two. One crew member was responsible for steering the craft using a tiller located at the rear, while the other crew member, known as a sailor, managed the sail.

Certain wind riders incorporated defensive measures to prevent enemy boarding. These same measures were commonly adapted to facilitate the boarding of other vessels, such as a sizable ballista mounted at the front. Larger warships were sometimes equipped with catapults, and slave galleys often carried flashcannons as weaponry.
