Wookieepedia:User page and profile policy
draft: false
The user page and profile policy on Wookieepedia details the regulations and advice regarding a user's user page and profile. Even though Wookieepedians should remember that their user page should not be their primary activity on Wookieepedia, self-expression is encouraged for users.
User pages are significant for introducing yourself to the Wookieepedia community. Thus, creating a distinctive user page that provides information about you and showcases your contributions to Wookieepedia is encouraged. For instance, users might want to display their Star Wars collections, feature their favorite characters, emphasize editing contributions they are proud of, mention future projects they plan to work on, or specify their preferred pronouns.
Some users like to write personal Star Wars fanfiction on their Wookieepedia user page. Wookieepedia suggests the Star Wars Fanon Wiki as a better place for longer pieces.
Rules
This section provides specific rules for user pages and profiles. If user pages breach these policies, an administrator may edit them to ensure compliance or delete them.

Excessive user page edits
Sanctions may be imposed on users who excessively edit their user page. Excessive user page editing means making more than 500 user page edits compared to less than 100 edits in other namespaces. (You can check your edit count by entering your username at Special:Editcount.)
