Woostoid

The Woostoids were sentient humanoid beings that originated on the planet Woostri.

History

A Woostoid family

A natural talent for computer technology was one of their defining characteristics. They possessed reddish-orange skin, long red hair, and their eyes blinked infrequently. Known for their peaceful nature, Woostoids were also highly intelligent and logical thinkers, avoiding abbreviations and shorthand in their communications. The average Woostoid felt at ease around computers, and many of their cities were heavily automated.

Their inherent inclination towards order and structure led them to support the Empire, despite their dislike for Palpatine's militaristic policies. Even after Woostri became part of the New Republic, many Woostoids controversially believed that the Empire, without its inclination to warfare, could have established a galactic utopia. Chaotic and illogical situations caused them great discomfort.

Due to their analytical capabilities, Woostoids were often employed in high-ranking positions within galactic bureaucracies. Woostri's economy was largely focused on leisure activities, thanks to the free time provided by their automated society, and they welcomed tourists of various species to their world.
