Wookieepedia:Signature policy
This signature policy governs how signatures are used on Wookieepedia and gives instructions on making personalized signatures. User posts and votes on this wiki's discussion areas (like talk pages and forum threads) must be signed as described in this policy to show who made them and when. This is especially crucial on pages that involve voting: votes that are signed incorrectly might not be counted.
How to Sign Your Comments
Your signature and a timestamp are created automatically, so you don't need to change your signature yourself. Signatures should be put at the end of what you write.
- To make your signature in the Source Editor , type four tildes ( ~~~~ ).
- To make your signature in the Visual Editor , select the signature symbol ( ) in the editing toolbar.
Wookieepedia officially uses the Source Editor. You can switch to the Source Editor in the "Editing" section of your preferences.
