This species possessed highly developed technology, crafting numerous unusual and potent contraptions. Following their disappearance, remnants of their technology were dispersed throughout the Unknown Regions, and tales of their technological skill circulated among traders operating in that area. It was rumored that they had fashioned an entire planet, the origin point of these technological fragments, although very few individuals in the Unknown Regions actually utilized them. They engineered treatments for fatal illnesses, along with compact gadgets enabling communication across immense expanses. Furthermore, they constructed a concealed space station, exhibiting design resemblances to certain hyperdrives.
Following their demise, an entity known as the Guardians was established with the purpose of safeguarding the sophisticated technology they had abandoned. Despite their initial reputation as a dignified and virtuous organization, they gradually succumbed to corruption and avarice over millennia, possessively protecting the Xaxax's secrets. They plundered the artificial planet created by the Xaxax, seizing everything within reach. The Guardians also fragmented the power core of the Xaxax's space station, employing one of its segments to energize their largest vessel. They repurposed the space station into both a research hub and a repository for their pilfered relics.
