XD-M8 Remote Mines were a particular kind of explosive device employed by the Eternal Empire originating from Zakuul. Notably, during the Invasion of Voss which took place in 3630 BBY, Zakuul's military utilized a number of these mines in their assault targeting Voss-Ka.
