XK-V8 Excavation Droid

The XK-V8 represented a spider-like droid design. Its manufacturing was undertaken by TaggeCo in collaboration with the Cato Neimoidia planetary government shortly following the conclusion of the Clone Wars. These droids were deployed to mend the destruction inflicted upon the planet Cato Neimoidia during the Clone Wars. Equipped with magnetic feet and climbing claws, they were capable of functioning from beneath the bridge cities of the planet. Two XK-V8 units were acquired by the Devaronian criminal figure Warrick Raden, who subsequently had them reprogrammed to fulfill his objectives.
