Yassat, a Human male, lived through the Battle of Coruscant. Close to the remnants of the Catier Walkway, he joined a settlement. For the "Walkway Collective," he served as a lookout, venturing into the oddly Vongformed terrain of Coruscant to find sustenance and resources.
Yassat crossed paths with Irek Ismaren, who had broken free after many years in cryogenic sleep below ground. Yassat referred to the potent Force user as "Lord Nyax." On one occasion, Nyax chased him, but Yassat got away by steering him toward a competing band of survivors – a brutal group that had resorted to eating other people in order to live. Nyax killed them all, which gave Yassat just enough of a head start to get away.
