Yount served as an Imperial Governor on the planet Wakeelmui. His responsibilities encompassed the command of a stormtrooper garrison located there. Sometime before the Battle of Endor, which occurred in the year 4 ABY, Yount put forward Sergeant [Wallen] (/article/wallen) and Wallen's stormtrooper squad to Commander Igar. Igar was the Imperial officer who oversaw Tempest Force, the military legion that was based on the Forest Moon of Endor.
Yount received a brief mention on the character card for Wallen in Endor Limited, a 1999 expansion set for Decipher's Star Wars Customizable Card Game. The name "Wakeelmui" is an anagram for the United States city of Milwaukee, and Yount's last name is the same as that of Milwaukee Brewers Hall of Famer Robin Yount.
