Zandoo, a Nautolan of the female persuasion, existed in the twilight years of the Galactic Republic. At some stage, she found herself indebted to the infamous crime lord, Jabba the Hutt, for a significant amount.
Around 21 BBY, Zandoo happened to hear a bounty hunter boasting about a lucrative transaction with an elderly man known as "Dodo." Spying a chance to gain some credits, Zandoo reached out to Trantos, a Republic clone trooper she knew and thought would be interested in this information. She set up a meeting with Trantos on the aquatic planet of Xxan. Zandoo connected with Trantos and a Jedi Padawan at a cantina located just outside the city of Acquos on Xxan. She proposed that, for a fee, she could connect them with a disgruntled Rodian ship-dealer, previously in her employ, who had secretly attached a tracking beacon to the bounty hunter's ship. The group then met with the Rodian, discovering that the bounty hunter had journeyed to the planet Pzandias. They decided to travel to this world to delve deeper into the bounty hunter's activities. However, while on their way to the Acquos spaceport, Zandoo, Trantos, and the Padawan were ambushed and captured by a bounty hunter seeking to collect Zandoo's outstanding debt to Jabba.
