A zomba existed as a wooded being native to Endor's lunar surface. Seemingly a meat-eater, it consumed any creature that happened to stray into the area it inhabited. Zombas seemed to pursue and run after their quarry by using only their rear limbs. Subsequently, they would stretch out their forelimbs as they attempted to seize the escaping target. Teebo, an Ewok, fashioned a zomba disguise to wear for his initial Shadow Night Festival. The disguise was so convincing that he managed to fool his companions Wicket Wystri Warrick and Latara, making them think he was an actual zomba as he gave chase through the woods for a while. Teebo later utilized the disguise once again to infiltrate Raich's cave during the temporary comeback of the creature known as the Raich.
