The 23rd Combat Starfighter Wing functioned as a starfighter wing within the Rapid Response Task Force of the New Republic. This wing consisted of X-wing, Y-wing, and B-wing starfighters. The 23rd Combat Starfighter Wing participated in the Battle of Mindor which occurred in the year 5 ABY.
