The 87th Sentinel Corps was experienced in urban defense tactics, and were often deployed to Republic cities that were at risk of falling under Separatist control. The unit was made up of standard clone troopers, clone sharpshooters, clone trooper officers, and heavy weapons clone troopers. Respectively, the soldiers of the unit were armed with DC-15A blaster carbines, Valken-38xs, DC-17 hand blasters, DC-15A blaster rifles, and DC-15LEs.
