O'Brien mentioned them in an entry in his article "Alien Encounters" as part of the Adnerem section, published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 11, published by West End Games. The article was republished in a reduced form, still mentioning the precursor species, in the book Alien Encounters in 1998, a collection of alien species compiled by Paul Sudlow.
