Selected as the Padawan of the Duros Jedi Master Tantron Dow, the pair were sent on a mission to investigate the disappearance of several Jedi in the Almas Wastelands in 31 BBY. During their search, the landspeeder Saad was piloting was shot down by a laser cannon operated by members of the Believers cult, killing Saad and injuring Dow.
