Ami-Kat-Ayama was a Cerean female Jedi Initiate active during the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, a few weeks after the beginning of the conflict between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, Ayama and her Initiate Clan were scheduled to undergo the Gathering on the sacred planet Ilum, where they would harvest kyber crystals and build their own lightsabers. Ayama was excited, and said she hoped to construct a saberstaff.
