At some point before the High Republic Era, the Echo Stone was hidden on Angcord from the Sith Lord Darth Ravi.
During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Barnabas Vim and his Padawan Vix Fonnick traveled to Angcord to search for the Echo Stone. After discovering that the Echo Stone was corrupting the planet and the Lady of Angcord they destroyed it and scattered its pieces in different places across the galaxy.
Angcord first appeared in the 2023 canon comic The High Republic Adventures: Quest of the Jedi. It was revealed in an announcement on Previews World.
