Barstead was a male Human Captain of the reconstituted Sith Empire living during the Galactic War. In 3640 BBY, he was stationed on the Imperial waystation of the planet Ilum.

Captain Barstead first appeared in the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, released by BioWare in 2011.

He is only accessible to Imperial players in the game on Ilum.
