In 3642 BBY, Darth Vengean and Darth Baras enacted Plan Zero to restart the war between Galactic Republic and Sith Empire. As Darth Baras ordered his apprentice to eliminate the Republic's War Trust on Taris, Darth Vengean would conquer the fringe systems, close to Imperial territory.
Admiral Monk's last stand
Darth Vengean's flagship, under Moff Masken, was sent to the fringe systems but was intercepted by Admiral Monk's naval forces and the flagship was besieged. After taking out the War Trust, Darth Baras' apprentice was sent to lift the siege over Darth Vengean's flagship and eliminate the Republic admiral. The apprentice was able to lift the siege but Admiral Monk escaped to the surface of the nearby planet Quesh. The apprentice followed Monk and eliminated him inside Fort Phalanx, discovering him to be part of Darth Baras spy network.
The battle appeared in the 2011 videogame Star Wars: The Old Republic, as part of Chapter II of the Sith Warrior class story.
