When the apprentice of Darth Baras docked with the vessel, Masken assumed that Darth Baras was betraying Darth Vengean in a Sith struggle at the cost of Imperial lives and revealed to the Sith Warrior that Admiral Monk and his top men had already fled in an escape pod to the planet below. The Warrior executed the indignant Moff, and then proceeded down to the planet.
