Benin was a human who was an administrator. They were in charge of security at Uveron City and was responsible for providing security for rebel leader Mon Mothma, during a funding mission, between 3 ABY and 4 ABY. During the mission, Mothma was kidnapped by the Scarabi mercenary group, who attacked the security guards and took her hostage.
Afterwards, Benin was visited by Rebel Alliance pathfinders who were rescuing Mothma. Benin apologized for the security failures and took full responsibility. Leader of the pathfinders, Kes Dameron assured Benin that they were not at fault and there was no security concerns. Benin then praised their fighters and believed that the perpetrators of the kidnapping were highly skilled.
