Biivren sector

The Biivren sector was the site of the Biivren system, which contained the terrestrial planet of the same name, and the Werania system, which was the origin point of the items known as Weranian holocards.

Following the fragmentation of the Galactic Empire during the Battle of Endor of 4 ABY, the Imperial forces retreated from Biivren, leaving the industrial world to face a shortage of drinking water as a result of contamination. A group of free-traders subsequently shipped in large amounts of potable water to sell it to the highest bidder.

The Biivren sector was first mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry. In 2012, the sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the Online Companion feature "Essential Atlas Extra: Expansion Region."
