The Bounty was a warship operated by the Galactic Alliance in the years following the Yuuzhan Vong War.
The Bounty was built during the Yuuzhan Vong War and deterred the Vong forces from attacking Mon Calamari outright until the final phase of the war, despite being unfinished.
In 40 ABY, the Bounty was part of a Alliance task force monitoring Bothan fleet units in Bothan Space, along with the frigate Daring. Supreme Commander of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force Cha Niathal visited the vessel as part of her efforts to be visible on the front lines of the Second Galactic Civil War.
During a mission near the Bothawui system, the Bounty successfully engaged a task force of nineteen Bothan frigates. Due to the fact that several of the vessels were on shakedown cruises or not fully crewed, the Alliance forces were able to rout the Bothan flotilla.
During the Second Battle of Fondor, the Bounty was one of the Galactic Alliance ships to remain loyal to Cha Naithal.
