Caviness Thorn was a humanoid bounty hunter who led the Caviness Thorn crew. Around 5 BBY, Thorn took a bounty on the smuggler Han Solo and attempted to kill the smuggler on the planet Abregado-Rae but was thwarted by Solo's friend, the cyborg bounty hunter Beilert Valance.
