Chief Executive (Rebel Alliance)

The head of an Allied Command inside the Alliance to Restore the Republic was known as the Chief Executive. Their role was to manage their Command, much like the Chief of State did, but within a more limited scope and area.

The specifics of the Chief Executive role differed significantly across Commands. In certain Commands, the Chief Executive was the governing figure of the planet, while in others, individuals were either elected or selected for the position. The Chief Executive could be more than one person, such as a board or even an alien collective consciousness.
