Chokie was a popular food product sold in a box on the planet Tatooine. It was prepared as fresh dried chokie by being harvested while fresh, then set out to dry in the Dune Sea for three days. The food vendor Grendle sold these at a stand near the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Chokie was also exported to Coruscant, where it was sold by a Roonan at CorusMall near the Senate Building.
Qui-Gon Jinn could ask to purchase a box of chokie from Grendle on Tatooine, or alternatively ask for a thermal detonator, which would prompt Grendle to direct him to Anabar, another vendor, who would sell him the detonator.
If Qui-Gon killed Grendle before making a purchase, a box of chokie would be dropped for him to pick up, or if he killed Grendle after already purchasing the box, he would instead drop a single piece of chokie.
After obtaining a box of chokie, Qui-Gon would then be able to give it to an Ishi Tib, but would not get anything in return.
