A Culroon warlord named Kloff eventually gained the upper hand in the wars, ending them by using imported weapons to unite the planet under his control by 9 BBY. At some point following the Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Emperor Palpatine ordered Culroon III to be occupied, which included the construction of a garrison in Kloff's territory. Kloff later mounted an insurrection against the Empire but was defeated.
