The second time the Dead Forest was home to a battle was during the Raich's temporary return, when the Ewok Wicket Wystri Warrick accidentally released the Raich. Wicket and his friends Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, Teebo, and Latara were forced to find a way to re-trap the Raich, and they entered the Dead Forest to confront the Raich, eventually succeeding.
