Doreenian ambergris

Doreenian ambergris was a natural substance vomited up by the cetaceans of the ocean world Doreen. It could often be found floating on the the planet's gentle waves or washed ashore on the perimeters of its scattered islands. Doreenian ambergris was a traditional perfume ingredient in the Senex-Juvex region, and traditional perfumers from across the galaxy would pay a high price for it.

The lucrative trade in ambergris meant that the planet was plagued by gangs of scavengers and smugglers operating on the oceans in skimmers, hunted by the security forces of the ruling House Petro. Around 10 BBY, Han Solo used Doreenian ambergris as a cover cargo while he smuggled spice for Ylesian priests.
