The Dual Moons were a pair of similar space stations in the Bright Jewel system during the time of the Galactic Civil War. They resembled those used by the Trade Federation or miners. The Dual Moons were located in the Scarlet Dawn quadrant, the heart of Black Sun operations in the Bright Jewel system. Along with the Darkveil Eclipse, they formed the Salient Trinity, the three Black Sun starfighter bases in the system.
In 1 ABY, the Dual Moons starfighters were led by Lieutenant Commanders Chaen and Ondara. During the Battle of Tansarii Point Station, the Dual Moons served as the first line of defense for the Darkveil Eclipse and were attacked by Dartas Pytin's Car'das starfighters. Most of the Black Sun forces were eliminated, including Chaen and Ondara.
The Dual Moons appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
