The Scarlet Dawn was a quadrant of space located in the Bright Jewel system, in the shadow of the Sanguinus Veil Nebula.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Scarlet Dawn was controlled by the Black Sun pirates and was the most dangerous quadrant of the Bright Jewel system. It contained the Salient Trinity, that consisted of the Darkveil Eclipse and the Dual Moons, the three Black Sun starfighter bases in the system. The Trinity was attacked by Dartas Pytin's Car'das starfighters during the Battle of Tansarii Point Station.
