Duralium was a blue-colored material that could be used to reinforce steel or to construct lightsabers.
Duralium was a blue material which could be combined with a steel alloy to enforce it. It could also be used in lightsaber hilts.
During the High Republic Era, the Veil speeders, which were produced by Valkeri Enterprises for the Jedi Order, used duralium frames.
In 14 BBY, the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis discovered some duralium within the Origin Lake on the planet Kashyyyk and kept it for making modifications to his former master's lightsaber, which he received from his Jedi Master Jaro Tapal shortly before his death during Order 66 in 19 BBY.
Four months before the Liberation of Erso in 0 BBY, Jyn Erso, daughter of Imperial scientist Galen Erso, was imprisoned at the Wobani Labor Camp on the planet Wobani. Inside the labor camp, Jyn picked up a duralium-enforced steel alloy panel as she worked. However, she dropped it and the panel shattered. Noticing that the panel was too brittle, an RA-7 protocol droid notified the nearby engineer that 400 panels had been made from the same defective batch. In response, that section of the facility was shut down and every panel from that batch was pulled and remade.
