Dustgrain farming was a method of farming carried out by the Aki-Aki, the native species of the desert planet Pasaana. The Aki-Aki used electro-sifters to catch seeds and spores blown by the planet's desert winds. The sifters also used moisture vaporator technology to irrigate the arid ground, making it suitable for farming.
