Dynast was the title used to describe the leader of a Noghri clan. They usually met in the Grand Dhuka to meet and discuss issues involving the whole of Honoghr, as well as pay tribute to the Galactic Empire when Honoghr was subordinate to it.
It is unknown what duties or powers the dynast and the maitrakh shared but they seemed to hold some authority over the maitrakhs.
