Endurance was a bonus mission that appeared in Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike. The main concept of both missions was to survive and defeat several enemies in a specified time.
Although not referred to as Endurance, a similar bonus mission called "CHICKEN" was included in the first game, taking place on Tatooine where the player is piloting an AT-ST and has to cause a lot of destruction to Imperial Forces. It is unlocked by inputting the passcode "CHICKEN."
The first Endurance took place on the Death Star II, where the player had to destroy waves of Imperial fighters and, every 10th wave, a group of shuttles. The Climax Battle is against Darth Vader in his Tie Advanced x1. The player's default vehicle during this mission is a T-65B X-wing starfighter.
The second Endurance took place in the Death Star's hangar area and on foot, where the player, playing as Luke Skywalker, has to fight against various Imperial soldiers. The final enemy of the level is Boba Fett. If the player manages to either beat the level with the IGIVEUP cheat or by not losing a single life, the announcer will announce that the player is "unstoppable."
Endurance is a series of bonus missions in the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron video game series. the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader version was included in the cooperative campaign of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike.
