Feric Oranalli

Feric Oranalli was a Dressellian male who worked at the Temple of the Kyber in the Holy City on the moon Jedha as an archivist and the assistant to archivist Zumeg as members of the Disciples of the Whills. Around 382 BBY, after the Firebird of Colsassa had been stolen from the temple, the Jedi Vildar Mac and Matthea Cathley informed Oranalli and Zumeg of the theft. The two archivists led the Jedi and Captain Oklane Viss of the Guardians of the Whills to where the sculpture was meant to be in the temple. Before they arrived, Zumeg thanked the Jedi for reporting the robberies, but dismissed the idea that there had been a robbery in the temple because of the Guardian's presence. When Cathley replied that Tey Sirrek, a former Guardian, had said it was from the temple, Oranalli reacted and stated that he said many things. Zumeg attempted to calm Oranalli, but the archivist declared Sirrek to be a menace. Zumeg then stated that either way, the truth of the matter would be easily settled.

When the group arrived at where the Firebird was supposed to be, Zumeg was shocked to discover it was missing, and Oranalli insisted it to be the doing of Sirrek. Mac then stated that whilst he was not a fan of Sirrek, it seemed like a stretch that he was to blame for the theft, to which Oranalli replied that nothing about Sirrek, referring to him as a hoodlum, made sense. The two Jedi then explained why it didn't make sense for Sirrek to have carried out the theft. At some point after, Oranalli and Zumeg took the Jedi to inspect the security cameras logs. Mac questioned the archivists whether the cameras would have captured any unauthorized visitors into the temple, to which Zumeg responded yes, as long as Oranalli found the correct file. An explosion then set off, killing Zumeg, though thanks to the actions of Mac, Oranalli survived.

Not long later, Werth Plouth, the Herald of the Path of the Open Hand instigated a riot in the Holy City which resulted in the outbreak of the Battle of Jedha. During the battle, Plouth and the Children raided the Temple of the Kyber in an attempt to find the Rod of Daybreak. Oranalli was paid by the Path, what Plouth later described as handsomely, to provide them with the location of the rod, which was located in a Jedi vault in a Jedi statue in the desert outside the city. After Plouth and the Children made their way to the vault, they discovered it, as Oranalli had informed them. Before they could leave, however, they were confronted by Mac and Sirrek, which resulted in the Herald being imprisoned in the Temple of the Kyber. The rod was given to Oranalli, who was tasked with keeping it safe within the temple.

Sometime after, Oranalli was elevated to chief archivist. Not long after, the Path member Yana Ro persuaded Oranalli to take her to Plouth within the temple, so she could speak with him. After they reached the Herald's cell and spoke with Plouth, Oranalli was killed by the Herald, and the two Path members escaped from the temple.
