The Gansett system existed within the Manda sector, which itself was situated within the Slice region of the Mid Rim. The Gansett Zoo could be found within this system.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, released in 2009 and written by Daniel Wallace along with Jason Fry, was the origin of the Gansett system, positioning it within grid coordinate R-15.
