Gray Two was the call sign used by the second pilot of Gray Squadron or Gray Flight. Both Rebel Alliance and New Republic starfighter squadrons used these designations, and several individuals used the call sign Gray Two.
Approximately two months after the Battle of Yavin, Princess Leia Organa's covert Rebel T-65 X-wing starfighter squadron, Gray Flight, used the call sign Gray Two to refer to both the two-person flight group of Rus Kal Kin and Falback Kord, and Wedge Antilles as an individual.
The Rebel Alliance's Gray Squadron had BTL Y-wing starfighter pilot Lieutenant Telsij as Gray Two during the Battle of Endor, with Karie Neth as his gunner.
New Republic pilot Jesmin Ackbar flew as Gray Two in Wedge Antilles' Gray Squadron prior to its adoption of its permanent designation, Wraith Squadron. Ackbar's squadronmate, Falynn Sandskimmer, would also use the same call sign throughout the Wraiths' time posing as the crew of the CR90 corvette Night Caller, which was aligned with Imperial Warlord Zsinj. Flying its complement of TIE/LN starfighters, they adopted the designation of Gray Flight. She participated in both the Battle of Talasea and Ession as Gray Two.
A Jedi pilot by the designation "Gray Two" flew as part of Gray Squadron in the New Jedi Order's StealthX wing during the battle on Nam Chorios.
