Subsequently, she met her death at the hands of Ordo Skirata, a Null-class Advanced Recon Commando collaborating with a Republic counter-terrorism unit, after he discovered her activities as a spy. Assisted by a fellow Null-class ARC, Mereel Skirata, Ordo executed her with a fatal headshot utilizing a Verpine shatter gun during her lunch break.
Hela Madiry, a Human female, held the position of clerk within a GAR logistical installation. When the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, she was stationed on Coruscant, which served as the Republic's capital. She had relatives on Jabiim, a planet that experienced a coup, where its congress declared its allegiance to the Separatists. Secretly, Hela provided information concerning GAR troop deployments to a Separatist terror group functioning on Coruscant.
Her exposure as a mole resulted from a string of terrorist bombings targeting military sites on Coruscant perpetrated by the Gurlanin, Jinart, who shared this information with Kal Skirata, the commander of a Republic counter-terrorism special operations team. Subsequently, Kal dispatched Ordo Skirata to eliminate her. While Madiry was perusing a holozine during her respite, 385 days following the initial engagement on Geonosis, Ordo—disguised as a standard clone trooper—shot her twice in the head and once in the chest. He received assistance from another Null-class ARC, Mereel Skirata, who deactivated the holocamera nearby.
Hela Madiry made her debut in Republic Commando: Triple Zero, a novel authored by Karen Traviss and released in 2006, serving as the second installment in the Republic Commando series.
According to Madiry's entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, published in 2008, Ordo entered her office within the logistics center and carried out her assassination. However, the novel depicts him shooting her in the head in a public courtyard outside the logistics center while she was eating lunch.
