The Hidden Daggers were a pirate organization active in the Corellian system at the time of the Galactic Civil War.
The Hidden Daggers were based in the Binayre Razorcat of the Corellian system. They maintained a strong presence in the Binayre Razorcat quadrant and in The Void. Members of the organization were also sometimes seen around major cities on Corellia.
In space battles, the Hidden Daggers flew M3-A Scyk fighters, T-65 X-wing starfighters, G1-M4-C Dunelizard fighters, RZ-1 A-wing interceptors, Rihkxyrk assault fighters, Firespray-31-class starships, BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighters, YT-1300 freighters, Ye-4 gunships and Warlord Heavy Cruisers. One such cruiser was the Daggers Point.
The Hidden Daggers were founded by a disavowed Flail cutthroat lieutenant. Hence, they then entered in a permanent conflict with the Flail. They were originally a band of highly skilled assassins but they remained quite secretive, taking only small bounties, and never gained strong notoriety.
The Hidden Daggers later degenerated into a band of thugs and pirates who attacked and plundered defenseless starships in the Corellian system, especially in the lawless Binayre Razorcat quadrant. The pirates therefore became a target for the Corellian Security Force ans for their allies of Beldonna's League. However, they were supported by the Rogue CorSec criminals. At some point early in their existence, the Hidden Daggers also entered in conflict with the Hutts and fought constantly for the control of The Void in the Corellian system. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the reasons of the conflict had been forgotten.
After the Battle of Yavin, the Hidden Daggers extented their operation to other star system. They also established a permanent presence in the restricted Dathomir system. Some of their starfighters were even spotted near an Imperial space station. Around that time, they co-operated with Galactic Vacant Building Demolitions, demolishing abandoned buildings using aerial bombardment. These operations served as a basis for the creation of the Galactic Vacant Building Demolishing Movement by the Empire.
In 1 ABY, the Hidden Daggers obtained sensitive information about secret operations of the Imperial Navy special unit Black Epsilon on Corellia. The pirates planned to deliver the data to the Rebel Alliance but the ship carrying the data, the Torton Runner, was intercepted in the Corellian system by Imperial starfighters led by Prisk Kith'Vys. The Empire later destroyed the ship with its crew and left evidences that the Rebels were responsible for the attack.
In the same year, CorSec Sergeant Rhea ordered an attack on several leaders of the Hidden Daggers to combat the increasing pirate activity in the Corellian system. A skilled CorSec pilot managed to engage and kill the and the Hidden Dagger captains Russ Grimblade, Xopw Laow, Mori the Bastard, Owpa Awoz and Quixio the Rotten. Around the same time, an unit of Rebel Alliance pilots commanded by Rebel Officer Acun Solari attacked and destroyed a group of Hidden Dagger starfighters in the Corellian system.
The Hidden Daggers appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
The Hidden Daggers were one of various thug groups that coud be found in Corellian cities in Star Wars Galaxies. With the addition of space sectors in the first expansion, Jump to Lightspeed, Hidden Daggers starfighters were added to the Corellian and Dathomir systems. They were also featured in several CorSec and Imperial pilot missions. With the release of the "Chapter 8," on January 15, 2008, various space-based kill collections were added to the game and additional Hidden Daggers starfighters, transports and gunships were added to other star systems. Eventually, the "Game Update 16," released on March 23, 2010, allowed players to fight unlimited waves of Hidden Daggers vessels spawned from the Dathomir, Lok and Tatooine space stations.
The group was also mentioned in "Move It or Lose It" in 2007, a small in-universe introduction to the first House Pack-Up event in Star Wars Galaxies.
