Ichalin Station was a space station situated in the Expansion Region's Hijoian Space. In an example described in the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook, a Glottalphib pyromaniac smuggled a flamethrower through Ichalin Station customs, earning himself a bounty posting. Around 2 ABY, the Ho'Din terrorist Yansan sabotaged a Rebel Alliance starship present in Ichalin Station, leading to the capture and death of the Rebel agents attempting to pilot the crippled vessel.
Ichalin Station was a space station located in a star system that constituted a part of the Expansion Region's Hijoian Space.
When composing a section for an edition of the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook published at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY, Arack Dostryt, the Director of Recruiting for the Bounty Hunters' Guild, described a hypothetical example meant to illustrate the fact that bounty hunters could collect multiple posted bounties for the same captured individual. In the example story, a Glottalphib pyromaniac smuggled a CZ-28 Flamestrike flame cannon through Ichalin Station customs, leading to a bounty being placed on him. The Glottalphib of the example subsequently decided to maintain a low profile but nevertheless later earned an additional bounty posting on himself due to an unrelated reason.
At some point by 2 ABY, a starship used by four agents of the Rebel Alliance was present in Ichalin Station. During that time, the Ho'Din terrorist Yansan sabotaged the ship, leading to the capture and death of the agents when they were unable to operate the crippled vessel in an escape attempt. Rebel Lieutenant Commander Bakki Sourthol subsequently mentioned the Ichalin Station incident in an addendum to an Alliance SecuriDex datafile on Yansan.
Ichalin Station was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia placed both Ichalin Station and the Hijoian Docks—another space station connected to Yansan and also introduced in Alliance Intelligence Reports—in the Fakir sector.
The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, however, placed Ichalin Station's star system and the Hijoian system in grid square J-8 as part of the Expansion Region's Hijoian Space while the Fakir sector was placed in the Colonies. This article assumes the latter placement is correct for Ichalin Station.
