The Imperial Commission on the Conduct of the War was a bureaucratic body of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The Commission once compiled a report entitled Effectiveness of Standard Escort and Patrol Tactics Against Enemy Interdiction in response to successful Rebel Alliance attacks on Imperial supply convoys. The Empire eventually found the perfect solution to this problem in the form of the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate.
