The Imperial Medal of Honor was a military decoration granted by the Galactic Empire for service above and beyond the call of duty. The overall design of the medal resembled that of the Medal of the Emperor's Fist. The Rebel Alliance had a similar award named Alliance Medal of Honor.
In 1 ABY, one was awarded to an Imperial-aligned spacer alongside several Imperial supporters for eliminating an Alliance general aboard a Rebel-owned Corellian corvette. The same year, another Imperial Medal of Honor was awarded to an Imperial ace pilot involved in the destruction of the Rebel corvette Radiant Anthem in the Kessel system.
