Iotran Defense Technologies was a relatively tiny company located on Iotra. They produced specialized weapons for use by the Iotran Police Force. Many of their weapons were employed by skilled veterans of the Police Force, called the Iotran Braceman Council. The weapons produced by the IDT helped the Iotran Bracemen achieve a 95% capture rate in their endeavours.
