Lady Isa Durand was a famed Devaronian female crime boss who led the Durand crime family's syndicate and its Durand's Council during the Imperial Era. In 19 BBY, her son Roland Durand's horn was severed by a Pyke operative, disgracing the Durands. Eventually, Roland convinced her to allow the Bad Batch's clone mercenaries to bring the Pyke to them.
Around 18 BBY, she presided over the trial of a Devaronian captain accused of conspiracy against the Durand family, ultimately declaring him guilty and sending him falling into a dark pit. Afterward, when Bad Batch members Hunter and Wrecker delivered the Pyke who had harmed Roland to Isa, she allowed her son to give the clones the information they sought—coordinates to the Imperial doctor Royce Hemlock's laboratory—before indicating they should leave.

Lady Isa Durand was a Devaronian female who was active by the time of the Imperial Era. As a prominent and famed crime boss of the Durand family, she was part of the Durand's Council, which issued punishments to those who committed crimes against the family's syndicate. Durand was the mother of Roland Durand, a Devaronian male criminal. In 19 BBY, while under the Pyke Syndicate's custody, Roland told the human female clone Omega about his family's way of taking what they wanted, a tactic he claimed Isa had perfected. After escaping, he chose to begin operating more closely with his mother in his family's fortress on the planet Devaron. Isa's son convinced his mother to hire the Bad Batch's clones—who were operating as mercenaries—to capture the Pyke operative that had wronged their family by cutting off one of Roland's horns in exchange for information about the Imperial doctor Royce Hemlock's laboratory.
While in their Devaron fortress around 18 BBY, Isa presided over the trial of a Devaronian captain as part of the family's Durand's Council. From her throne, she pronounced the defiant captain guilty of conspiracy and inquired whether he had any last words. When the captain accused her of making the Durand syndicate weaker under her leadership, she asked others present whether they agreed, garnering only silence in the audience chamber in response. Lady Durand then pressed a button on her throne that deactivated the force field beneath the captain's feet, sending him falling into a dark pit. When she then indicated for her next audience to be brought before her, Roland obliged and signaled for the fortress's guards to open the doors.

The Bad Batch members Hunter and Wrecker entered the chamber and presented the Pyke who had cut off Roland's horn to Isa. They tossed the severed horn piece to Roland, assuring Isa that the Pyke's capture would not be traced back to the Durands. After having the protesting Pyke taken away, the lady contemplated their reasoning for requesting information about Hemlock, musing that she would have killed them if her son had not convinced her to consider their proposal. Eventually, she allowed Roland to provide the clones with coordinates to the doctor's laboratory. Although Hunter questioned the veracity of the information, Isa indicated that the pair should take what they came for and leave to not test her generosity. The two clones quickly left and later found the coordinates led to a different laboratory, which had been destroyed by orbital bombardment, and wondered whether the Durand family's information had been accurate.
Isa had white hair, red eyes, pale skin, and a pair of pale horns. She stood 2.01 meters tall. The woman often maintained a moderated speaking tone when dealing with conflict, willing to execute harsh punishments on those threatening her family. Her son, Roland—who was often by her side—was at times able to convince his mother to consider various courses of action at his request. Isa was displeased with those who tested her patience, glaring at Hunter during his visit to the family's fortress. As a crime boss, the woman sought to teach her son that Durands always took what they wanted.
On Devaron, she wore a high-necked purple dress accompanied by matching purple horn and hair accessories. Her dress additionally featured gold-colored chest ornamentation featuring the Durand syndicate's emblem, and she donned dark-colored shoes. The crime boss wielded a long staff, which she used to call others to attention in her fortress audience chamber.

Isa Durand was first mentioned in "Infested," the thirteenth episode of the first season of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, released on July 23, 2021. She first appeared in "Paths Unknown," the second episode of the series' third season, which premiered on February 21, 2024. In the episode, Isa was voiced by Anjelica Huston, an actor who had previously voiced the character of Sith Mother in the Star Wars: Visions anthology television series.
The 2014 reference book Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide, written by Adam Bray, specifies that male Devaronians have horns while females are hornless. However, in "Paths Unknown," Isa Durand is depicted with a pair of horns, and other female Devaronians have been depicted with horns in other media, such as the 2015 mobile game Star Wars: Uprising. This article assumes that the precedent in Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide has since been retconned.
