The episode opens with C-3PO and R2-D2 approaching the gate of Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine. C-3PO is fearful and tells R2-D2 that if he told him half the things he knew about Jabba, he would probably short-circuit.
The video then flashes back to a shot of Jabba devouring a gorg. The narrator explains that the the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt leads the criminal underworld. Members of the Max Rebo Band including Max Rebo, Sy Snootles, and Droopy McCool perform Lapti Nek with the Jawa Kalit. The bounty hunters IG-88 and Bossk, Jabba's jester Salacious B. Crumb, and his major domo Bib Fortuna watch in the shadows.
Jabba hurls a gorg against the carbon-frozen Han Solo, who is displayed on a wall. Boba Fett brings an Aqualish before Jabba and forces him to kneel before Jabba. Jabba smirks before throwing the Aqualish down the trapdoor. Jabba and his entourage laugh and cheer as the rancor Pateesa devours the hapless prisoner.
Returning to the prisoner, C-3PO thinks that nobody is inside the palace and decides to return to Master Luke Skywalker. However, the gates open and R2-D2 rolls inside. Jabba's laughter echoes in the background.
