The Jedi Command acted as the communications hub for the Jedi Order, managing messages received via the Council spire's topmasts, and also managed the Order's military operations during the Clone Wars. Situated within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, it operated with all transmissions directed to Jedi Command first arriving in the War Room. From there, information was disseminated through the Temple's Holomap Rooms via a pyramidal structure. Specifically, twelve teams kept a close watch on distinct regions across the galaxy. Possible issues were then passed on to another team for even more detailed examination. Should a threat be confirmed, the details were passed to senior Jedi via datascreens, who then relayed the information for plotting on the Jedi High Council's holomap located within the High Council Tower.
The Security Act amendment significantly reduced its power, transferring much of its authority to the Supreme Chancellor; the entire command structure was later destroyed with the implementation of Order 66.
