"Jinda" Ewoks. On the Forest Moon of Endor, the Ewoks employed the pejorative term Jinda. This term was applied to members of their own species who abandoned the conventional settled existence, opting instead for a wandering, nomadic lifestyle. The name "Jinda" alluded to the Travelling Jindas, a group of the Jinda species (not native to Endor) who embraced a nomadic existence on the same moon.
