Jubai Laetlii was a Human male commando who lived during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, Laetlii was stationed at the Imperial Oasis, on the planet Tatooine. In 1 ABY, Jubai Laetlii bought a datapad with sensitive information stolen from the Incom Corporation to the pirate Eyan McDermitt. However, a spy working for Sarlis Beni also tried to recover the datapad and traced Jubai Laetlii to the Imperial Oasis. The spy just planned to steal the datapad instead of trying to confront Laetlii directly, and finally succeeded in robing the datapad from Jubai unnoticed.
Jubai Laetlii was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Jubai Laetlii was added to the game upon the release of the "Publish 25", a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
In the game, players could choose to kill Jubai to retrieve the datapad, or steal it from him peacefully. This article assume that Jubai was not killed, as it was the recommended course of action in the game.
